If you are traveling from Athens, follow the National Highway all the way to Veria and then take the road to Kastoria (690 km) or, as an alternative route, you can follow the National Highway all the way to Larisa and then take the road to Kozani and Kastoria (600 km). Both routes will take approximately seven and a half hours to destination.
If you are traveling from Thessaloniki you can take the fastest route (approximately 3 hours for 250 km) through Kastoria or follow the alternative route of Egnatia highway all the way to the exit for Kozani and then follow the route to Florina. It will take an extra half hour but the magnificent scenery, especially after you pass Florina, will be worth the while.

If you wish to avoid driving there are buses you can take from Athens or Thessaloniki. There are daily schedules to Florina from the Florina KTEL.
Once you reach Florina there is a local KTEL bus to Prespa and Agios Germanos three times a week. If the schedules are not convenient there is always the option of a radio taxi from Florina to your destination.

From Thessaloniki there is a direct train to Florina.
